We saw these while we were cruising an
antique mall this past weekend. We just thought they were
adorable.

Gotta tell ya...they come with a pretty price tag too. The
sanitation truck below cost nearly $400. It is in
mint condition, we're sure it musta got lost in someone's attic...
forgotten til Grandma passed.

The one below was a little cheaper, we can just imagine some little boy
playin with it in the sand
hauling around his little cars.

Love the
idea below from Design Sponge. How
fun for a kids room!
Sure makes me wish I'd saved all my son's toy trucks, especially one I could have put books in. Forget the kid's room, I want it for mine!
ReplyDeleteThose are cute! My brother had a lot of Tonka trucks when we were kids. On the 4th of July, I took my sparklers to them and "welded" the tires on them lol. I'd have been better off stealing them since I had started a life of crime. ;-)

Fabulous! I ADORE those trucks!
ReplyDeleteI love those old kids wheel toys.
ReplyDeleteMy fifty-something son used to play with them by the hours. Memories.
Happy days to you.

I think it's perhaps ironic that the SANITATION truck is the one that is SPOTLESS. humorous. i love that idea for a kids room.
ReplyDeleteAww! I adore them!! My son would have hijacked your blog for those trucks :D
