Inside the Aloha

Renovations have started on the 1969 Aloha travel trailer that we purchased last weekend. Here are some pics of the inside. This baby is in great shape...no leaks, solid floor, perfect laminate and vinyl. Even the cushions are in excellent shape. We washed them and have decided to keep them original so that made it challenging to find a fabric for the drapes...

But we found it! This mod fabric just screams 1969 don't cha think?

Here are the paint colors we chose to go with the fabric and the retro cushions.

The kitchen area has white laminate with gold flecks. The back splash is sort of a green gold tile that matches the groovy color scheme we like.
We are whisking the trailer off this morning to our friendly automotive guy to check out the axle, then she'll go to a dry warehouse for exterior painting. We'll keep you posted on her progress!
One day she will be the perfect martini lounge....!!!

  4. What fun it is to redecorate! I have a 1963 Shasta named "Daisy". It came with all Coca-Cola red and white.

I painted the inside but I need to do more on cushions and paint darker I believe, it is too white and was to be sky blue inside.
