Blast from the Past

Every time we watch this movie we want to move into the house they lived in. Seriously, we find ourselves rewinding the movie just to catch a glimpse of something retro...

like the Frigidaire Flair stove in the kitchen! (Don't cha just dig the crown she's wearing?)

Dixie (FJS#3) had this same range in one of her homes, and it was turquoise!

It's cool and swanky, a very sophisticated mid century modern style.

Even Bewitched had one! And you know that girl could have whatever she wanted at the twist of her cute lil nose!

So James Bond...the way the stove top pulled out.

And so Back To The Future...the way the oven door opened!
You gotta admit, RETRO IS COOL!!!!

  3. My HS boyfriend's grandmother lived in Ocala FL in a little house and she had one of those "folding" ovens. It was the coolest thing ever!

  7. Our state-of-the-art 1965 Frigidaire range has only one oven door and no Dutch oven, but is otherwise the same. And the broiler has three settings, so you can have your steak Rare, Medium, or Well!
