I adore vintage ads! The Coke ads remind me of my grandma, she worked at the Coca Cola bottling plant in Los Angeles when I was a little girl. I always thought SHE was the one in some of those ads, she was always fashionable and looked like a model! I found out years later that she was 'just the bookkeeper'!
Love this era...wish I could go back and visit! My grandparents lived in Burbank, Ca and I remember going to see movie premieres they'd hold in Burbank studios...got to see the premiere of The Shaggy Dog...that's what this period of time reminds me of....Hollywood movies...thanks for sharing those ads! That's why I LOVE Anne Taintor products!
Someday when you are on "this side of the mountain" come to Snohomish, there's many stores with ads galore. I pick up all the pixie and elf ones...don't take them! Tee hee!

ReplyDeleteThose were great commercials, I really liked the Ford one as we are a two Ford family.
