Our Junk Salvation Show is this weekend in Austin, TX!

I'm sitting here in the Salt Lake airport waiting for Dixie to arrive so we can hop on a flight to Austin for our show this weekend. I just keep imagining all the beautiful things the dealers will be bringing to this fabulous ghost town venue.   Many dealers will have these darling facades to build their booth around. Others will have tents set up filled to the brim with vintage and antique treasures for all the shoppers to sort through. 

Be nice to your fellow junkers...or we might have to throw you in the town jail!

Of course we will have the cute little vintage trailers available for touring 

(some will be for sale too!).

We have such talented vendors with the most junktastic finds...we just know you will find so many things you will fall in love with. Take a looksie at some of them...

We have shoppin' from 12pm til 7pm on Friday.  We will also be raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness on  Friday night with a party in the Saloon. We'll have raffles and door prizes. So join us in the Saloon for burgers and beers. J. Lorraine ghost town has been so generous, they have offered to raffle off a free rental of their Saloon and their Livery Stable! These are the coolest buildings and they have hosted many a family reunion and plenty of weddings, so come Friday night and buy your raffle ticket for a chance to win!

Shoppin' continues on Saturday from 10 til 4pm, 

remember the dealers restock so they will have fresh merchandise!

You can find some of the best vintage items under the Texas SKY in this one of a kind setting. 
This is a Friday and Saturday shopping extravaganza. We help support Breast Cancer Awareness where we donate a percentage of the door to a Breast Cancer Charity.
April 27 & 28, 2012 is our Texas event! 

Friday 12-7pm and Saturday from 10am-4pm...

 It's the same weekend as the Country Living Fair in Austin so gather up your girlfriends and do it all!!!

Regular admission is $7 each day. We give our vendors extra time to restock for Saturday!!!

Who doesn't swoon over white painted furniture? 

Billie Nixon of All in White Austin has just what we love and want. 

Her romantic style is perfect for any home...

her attention to detail is what makes her pieces stand out above others.

We could find so many uses for the dresser below. It would look good in any bedroom but how about in your master bath filled with linens? Display the top with a collection of vintage mirrors, or in your office holding extra supplies? 

Just like her name suggests, here's a china hutch done "all in white" displayed perfectly with....

what else but white dishes?

Vendor Profile...Le French Laundry

Boy do we have a treat for you! Meet Becky Warner of Le French Laundry. She creates such wonderful things...the kinda things that no girl can live without. She just finished up at Round Top and she completely SOLD OUT. Crazy huh? When you look at her stuff ya'll can see why. We can't wait to get our hands on some of it!

Yes, she will be at our Austin Funky Junk Sisters Vintage Flea Market.....so you can get your hands on this FAB stuff too!!!! After that she's off to the Dallas Market Show in June, where she sells her tote bags and pillows wholesale.  

Her darling burlap tote bags were bought by the company L’Oreal for Fashion Week New York 2012!!!

The Funky Junk Sisters will soon be sporting one of these gorgeous bags on our shoulders.

Look for  Rebecca Warner from Le French Laundry and her partners in crime “Alex Hernandez & Carlos Garcia from The White Lion”, they have a little shop in Harlingen, Texas.  You will find them at Junk Salvation in the ghost town on April 27th and 28th. So dust off those cowboy boots and make plans to come see them! Get there early...just in case they SELL OUT again!
